Public drops can create attention, but attention alone rarely produces durable participation. Multi-phase launches give teams a way to build demand, learn from each cohort, and protect launch quality before opening participation to the entire market.

Instead of treating launch day as a single moment, phased systems turn the launch into an operating sequence. Each phase has a job: capture intent, validate demand, reward early contributors, onboard partners, and then scale public access with confidence.

Launch sequencing creates better signal

When everyone enters at once, teams receive a flood of mixed-quality activity. Some participants are highly engaged contributors.
